Već odavno je kapitalizam napustio Fordovski , paternalistički i post-industrijski model upravljanja, a danas vješto primjenjuje lijevo-liberalni ( nekada subverzivni) kulturološki i društveni diskurs emancipacije, hiper-individualizma, permisivnosti i hedonizma kao novi oblik tržišne eksploatacije i manipulacije ( na taj je način i rekuperirao i komercijalizirao hippie, punk i druge

storočia, kedy mladí ľudia boli za slobodu, spontánnosť, za používanie omamných látok, jednoducho za liberálnosť. Aby sa diferencovali od ostatných, nosili farebné oblečenia, znak, ktorým sa prejavovali znázorňoval mier a hlavne sa vyznačovali farebnými kvetmi - tak je aj odvodené ich heslo „flower-power", čo v preklade znamená „sila kvetín".
